The Special Investigation Service (STT) is finalizing the implementation of Project No. VSF/2023/133, "Enhancement of Information Systems Used by the STT," under the Internal Security Fund 2021–2027 program.
The project has been allocated up to €835,987.13, including up to €626,990.31 from EU Internal Security Fund 2021–2027 program and up to €208,996.79 from co-financing sources. The project is funded by the and co-financed by national resources.

Project Implementation
As part of the project, cryptographic equipment, servers, data storage systems, and network perimeter security devices have been procured and installed.
The project implementation period began on November 6, 2023, and is scheduled to conclude on December 31, 2024.
On May 2, 2024, the project "Prevention and Detection of Corruption, Including Bribery in International Business Transactions" (VSF/2023/331) was launched.
Project Objective
The objective of this project is to enhance the capabilities of Special Investigation Service (STT) officers in preventing, identifying, and investigating bribery in international business transactions by adopting best practices from EU member states and other countries. Additionally, the project aims to foster strong anti-corruption attitudes among young people, strengthening their resilience to corruption as future professionals and leaders in both the public and private sectors. The initiative promotes a responsible approach to fostering an anti-corruption environment in the global economy, both domestically and internationally.
Project Implementation
To achieve these objectives, STT officers will participate in visits and seminars to learn from international institutions' experiences, strengthening their competencies in detecting, investigating, and preventing bribery in international business transactions.
Funding and Duration
A total of €494,330.17 has been allocated for the project's implementation, including up to €370,747.62 from European Union funds and up to €123,582.55 from co-financing sources.
